Game Description
For those with a sweet tooth to win big, then this is very much the ideal slot for you to get your hands all over.Play’n Go bring us Sweet 27a classic 50’s diner theme casino game, stocked full of delicious treats. The chrome slot harks back to classic 3 reel slots, stuck dead in the centre of some dreamy candy land. The game looks basic enough but will this game sugar crash or give us that sweet rush?
Technical Characteristics
Visually it’s nice, great colour and classic basic symbols, all relating to the naughty side of food. Strawberries and Cream, Glazed Cherries, Chocolate, Blueberries in sauce, and what looks like Orange wedges dipped in fizzy candy. Those are the symbols of the game for you to stake on, the bet begins at 0.10 and increases to 100 in real money, but the game comes available to play with virtual coins. Sweet 27 comes with 27 ways to win, a touch of the modern in such a vintage game. Play’n Go have adapted this ever so slightly though, by adding in a moving wild symbol which moves between then reels, but more on that in a bit.
Bonuses and Rewards
Offering a chance to increase your balance, comes the Gamble Feature, you will have seen this in other slots, whereby you can gamble your winnings on the decision of picking which card suit will be revealed or colour. If one was to predict the colour correctly, your win is multiplied by 2 and selecting the right suit of the card, sees your winnings multiplied by 4! Big money can be won if you stake high and gamble wisely.
The game does have a bonus round of Rolling Wild Free Spins. Strike the wild symbol on the third reel and you get rewarded with 2 free spins, the wild will then roll across to the next reel and the action repeats.
Rolling Wilds can Re-trigger as an added feature. If you land another wild during the free spins, this will reactivate your 2 free spins and adds a multiplier of 3 times the betting stake for all wins.
This game is not that big, glitzy, over the top extravaganza, it’s small and traditional. Now it may be Play’n GO had some time on their hands and knocked up a concept piece, but this certainly didn’t get heads turning on release or even announced, but it’s fun to try. Often we clamber for the biggest and best slots, this one is a cute little reminder of how it all began.
