The Green Lantern is a DC Comics superhero and one of the most celebrated comics to date. With a storyline so popular that it was translated into a major Hollywood blockbuster in 2011, the Green Lantern’s character aka Alan Scott was created in the 1940s and used a magic ring to fight criminals in the dark streets on New York City. The character was revived in 1959 and reinvented as Hal Jordan, a police officer that formed part of the Green Lantern Cops, the character gained so much popularity, that a group of Green Lantern Corps superheroes was introduced by DC.
Fast forward to 2016 where NextGen Gaming, and self-proclaimed DC Comics enthusiasts team up again in giving is another DC branded slot machine, The Green Lantern.
