As part of their ever growing Marvel series of online slots, the game wizards at Playtech have introduced the mighty Blade into the online slot arena as the theme of this particular Marvel title. Blade is a shadowy character from the Marvel comic book universe created in 1973 by Marv Wolfman. Born in 1929 in London, his mother had complications during birth and sent for a doctor who turned out to be a vampire. The doctor took the opportunity to feast on her during the birth and eventually killed her. As a result it passed vampire traits onto her baby (Blade). Half man and half vampire, he grew up to become a vigilante and set about on a mission to hunt down and kill all the remaining vampires.
He made his film debut in the 90s in the film ‘Blade’ starring Wesley Snipes. Casino software house Playtech created this Marvel video slot based on the story from the movie rather than the antics directly from the comic book series.
Technical Characteristics
Blade is equipped with 20 paylines lines, 3 rows and 5 reels and, to make this video slot a little more interesting for you, Playtech has added great graphics and sound fx to compliment the whole package. Symbols found on the reels themselves include blood spatter, boomerang blades, silver rods, weapons and general icons like vampires and Blade himself.
